¿Literacy=alfabetización?


Second Invitation and Call for Papers toThe 28th Session ofThe International Standing Conferencefor the History of Education (ISCHE 28)August 16--19, 2006Umeå University, SwedenConference Theme:Technologies of the WordLiteracies in the History of Education
Keynote speakers will be Professor Anne-Marie Chartier, Paris, France; Professor Shirley Brice Heath, Stanford, USA; Professor Egil Johansson, Umeå, Sweden; and Professor Brian V. Street, London, UK.Besides the plenary lectures, the conference will offer parallel paper sessions that will be organised in five working themes: Literacy studies, Literacy as technology, Literacy instruction, Literacy practice, and Literacy and society. Proposals for papers to be presented at ISCHE 28 should be written in English and submitted as email attachments addressed to ISCHE28@histstud.umu.se. The deadline for submitting proposals has been postponed to January 31, 2006.
